The man in black glanced at the night sky then checked his watch. It was almost four-thirty. Night shoots were fickle things. There was no definite end time, unless the location demanded it, so they could finish early or late. The sky was a long way from dawn, with no hint of blue yet, but he knew there wasn’t long to wait. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves and something groaned nearby. He quickly checked that his preparations were complete, glanced at his watch one more time, then moved into position.
